Golf Courses in Vancouver and the North Shore

golfcourseThere are more golfers in Canada, per capita, than in any other country in the world. One consequence of this love affair Canadians have with golf is that there are a lot of excellent, busy golf courses.

In Vancouver and the North Shore, there are six public courses. All of them are good, but the best, in terms of challenge, design and conditioning, are Fraserview in Vancouver, Northlands in North Vancouver and Riverway, in Burnaby, located just east of Vancouver.

Golf is so popular here in summer that it’s important to book your tee time as much in advance as possible. If you can’t book in advance, then call the A-1 Last Minute Golf Hotline and you may be able to save money. The A-1 numbers are 800-684-6344 or 604-878-1833. The A-1 hotline is available in spring and summer.
